Empire Theatre Appoints New General Manager

Chairman of the Empire Theatre Board, Prof Peter Swannell, said he was delighted to offer the role to Mr Saul, who has extensive experience in the performing arts industry.

"I am thrilled Kerry has accepted this appointment, and the Board and I have full confidence in his expert theatre knowledge and outstanding leadership qualities," Prof Swannell said.

Mr Saul was previously Deputy General Manager and Technical Manager at the Empire Theatre.

"I am delighted to accept this position and look forward to ensuring the continued success of the Theatre, both financially and as the cultural hub of the Toowoomba region," he said. 

"Together with the Board and our dedicated staff, I am confident the Empire Theatre’s future will continue to thrive with many projects, including the Toowoomba Regional Arts and Community Centre (TRACC), developing over the coming years."
